Pattern Tour: National Library of Public Information (NLPI)
The National Library of Public Information (NLPI) in Taiwan is a representative institution that leverages digital technology to innovate in the field of librarianship. Among its latest innovations is the AI Librarian, an LLM-based application. The AI Librarian utilizes three key patterns: the Intent Recognition Pattern, the Constrained Query Generation Pattern, and the Concise Dialogue Pattern. Since its launch in January 2024, the AI Librarian has significantly reduced the workload of library staff and greatly enhanced the user experience compared to previous service systems. This tour will visit NLPI and offer an on-site experience along with detailed explanations.
