If you register for the conference, within a
week you will receive a confirmation email and your name will
be listed in the Attendee list
page. If you don't see your name in the list, please contact
info@hillside.net.

Everyone who plans to attend PLoP has
to register. This includes authors, non-authors, students,
staff, conference organizers and volunteers. We strongly
encourage early registration.

Note: Only 15 single rooms available. Requests will be made
first come first served.
The fee includes:
- Conference Cost
- Room (9/08 through 9/12 -- Wednesday night,
Thursday night, Friday night, SaturdayNight)
- Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner), snacks and
beverages
- Transportation to/from Willard Airport
(CMI) in Savoy, IL
We'll also accept registrations without room at the
Allerton House. Attendees registering this way will have to
find their own accommodation and transportation.
The
Best Western motel in Monticello is probably the closest
place for lodging. Another hotel is Foster
Inn. Check also the Champaign-Urbana
Hotel Information for more options. In this case the fee
($800 US or $400 US for full-time students) includes
everything from above except room.
Attendees should plan to arrive on Wednesday September 8th,
and depart on Sunday September 12th. The traditional Papa
Dell's Pizza arrival reception will be held Wednesday evening.
Guests who want to stay before or after the conference will
be charged individually for lodging and any meals you choose to
take. If you plan to stay before or after the conference you
need to contact Allerton at 217-762-7011 or 217-333-3287.
Registration fees will be processed upon receipt.
Cancellations may be made up until the 22th August 2004.
There is $75 cancellation fee. Refunds will be made within four
weeks of the end of the conference. There is no refund for
cancellations after the 22th August 2004.
At any time you may transfer your registration to another
person. To do this, email a confirmation note authorizing the
person to attend in your place. Both parties will be contacted
via email or phone to verify transfer of registration.
"No-shows" are not refundable and are liable for the full
registration fee. If you can’t attend, and it is past the refund
date, then consider transferring your registration to another
person.
