SugarLoaf PLoP (Pattern Languages of Programs) is the premier event in Latin America for pattern enthusiasts to gather, discuss, and learn about patterns. It is one of the international PLoP series that started in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2001. Since the first event was by the SugarLoaf Mountain, the first organizers of the conference used the name SugarLoafPLoP and the name stuck. SugarLoafPLoP (SLPLoP) brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners whose interests span a remarkably broad range of topics and who share an interest in exploring the power of the pattern form. SugarLoafPLoP invites you to add your expertise to the growing corpus of patterns. You will have the opportunity to refine and extend your patterns with the help of knowledgeable and sympathetic fellow pattern enthusiasts. You will also be able to discuss applications of patterns in industry and academia.
