PLoP Conference Proceedings

The following are links to most of the proceedings from many of the PLoPs. Some of the accepted papers at PLoP Conferences have been published on the ACM Digital Library. The program committee will review the final versions of the papers and recommend acceptance to for the ACM Digital Library based on the general quality of the paper and whether the suggestions from the Writers’ Workshop have been taken into account.

TPLoP Journal

Previously, papers that have been workshopped at all PLoPs qualified for submission to the Springer journal LNCS Transactions on Pattern Languages of Programming (TPLoP). Submissions to TPLoP were blindly reviewed independently. Papers accepted for TPLoP by the editorial board required minor or major revisions based on the feedback from the reviewers.

Pattern Languages of Program Design” (PLoPD) Books

Papers workshopped in the proceedings of early PLoPs were submitted for inclusion into the following PLoPD series:

• Pattern Languages of Program Design (Volume 1), edited by James O. Coplien and Douglas C. Schmidt, patterns from the first PLoP conference in 1994.
• Pattern Languages of Program Design 2 (Volume 2), edited by John M. Vlissides, James O. Coplien, and Norman L. Kerth, based on the 1995 conference.
• Pattern Languages of Program Design 3 (Volume 3), edited by Robert C. Martin, covering papers from PLoP ’96 and EuroPLoP ’96.
• Pattern Languages of Program Design 4 (Volume 4), edited by Brian Foote, Neil Harrison, and Hans Rohnert.
• Pattern Languages of Program Design 5 (Volume 5), edited by Dragos Manolescu, Markus Voelter, and James Noble.
